On Thursday, March 24th, 2016, students in Soldiers Point Public School participated in a school-wide Easter Egg hunt. How did this work? Surely having chocolate eggs hidden in grass would attract ants and/or melt! Our solution: tokens.
We hid tokens around the school and each teacher hid them in their classrooms. If you found a token, you handed it in and whatever prize was attached to the token was handed over. No ants and no melted chocolate.
A huge thank you goes out to Woolworths at Salamander Bay for the loaner of the blow-up Lindt bunny and a donation of Easter eggs.
